Regardless, please support this talented musician by buying his independent record releases or attending one of his shows. I have never been to Samba at Universal Citywalk but look forward to the experience. Emile and I have played together in vocalist Gaby Hernandez’ band so we are familiar with each other’s styles. The unique and sultry tone of his voice and his lyrics tell stories of the highs and lows of life that everyone experiences – love, friendships, betrayal, being a musician, making a living, tragedy, spirituality, etc.Ĭommentary: This will be my first time performing on drums with Emile Porée. It’s a gradual seduction that allows the audience to grow within the music. Once the ear is loosened, an audience can appreciate music they haven’t heard before and hear the kinship of all musical sounds. To this end, Emile Porée considers himself a musical activist, taking a musical journey to experience the full repertoire of musical genres. Either solo, duo or with his trio, he admittedly likes and plays all musical genres fusing these unique sounds in his music box to grab the audience.

Fridays and Saturdays from 9p-1a at Samba feature “An Evening of Original Music and Deranged Standards accompanied with Samba Dancers and Special Musical Guests in the Grand Atmosphere of Universal Studios!”Įmile Porée is a jazz musician and vocalist who has reached over to a broader music loving audience.
